For the weekends I will leave out all non-Free Release maps. I will put back the other maps during the week.
I haven't heard back from the betas about the changes to Birds Eye...also Power Bowl is almost finished (prolly today). Will stick in beta forums prolly later today. I'm gonna make one more map after Power Bowl then do a new map pak.
D&D Theme is about 25% done. I might be able to finish tonight or tommorrow... _________________

Regarding Planetary and Solaris.
I've been talking back and forth with Omni about this a little bit and I'm sure he'll chime in with his opinions about it as well We are both pretty much on the same page I think.
Planetary
For Planetary, the biggest problem is that in order to do Planetary we have to sacrifice the opportunity to get regular season points. Not just the points available in game, but the chance at 2 different category bonuses (Criticals and BA). The recent change to allow the use of rank points to buy stuff in Planetary is nice, but I'm personally more focused on winning the seasons themselves than winning Planetary. Towards the end of the season, I could easily dump 10-20,000 into Planetary, then dominate both Planetary and the Season rankings at the same time.
I(we) propose that Planetary be handled separately from Rankings. If the "roll critical or -planetary" message was changed to just be "roll critical" and a new message was added specifically for planetary it wouldn't force us to choose between Planetary and Rankings. You could ease your work by only counting it when a player actually types the buy commands (-manufacture, etc.) instead of going through every time the message appears.
This way the players that have been faithful to planetary (like Kobol) won't be left by the wayside when the players focusing on rank points (Omni, Bob) decide they can afford to dump a butt-ton of rank points into planetary.
This could also be an opportunity to implement a new Occupation... Govenator... by typing -illbeback, the Govenator doubles (triples?) the planetary bonuses. By typing -prop19, the Govenator can convert a rank message to a planetary message.
Solaris
Solaris really needs to have a category bonus. This would give additional incentive for players to participate.
I wish there was a way for Solaris to work without the actual scores being displayed. Once a person Solarises one time everyone else knows what they are dealing with. I built a Solaris build with 23000 something for the score, but no one was willing to Solaris me back  _________________

when you add a new message it throws off the percentages...there is already a small percentage for the ranking and BA...i'll getting on comms and we can talk _________________

At work, no comms
If you replace one of the "blank" messages with "$1 Planetary bonus, enter command to purchase -manufacture, -power, -whatever..." it shouldn't affect the percentages at all.

The "","","","","" at the end are basically just empty options which mean that nothing gets displayed if the randomizer picks one of them. Just replace one of them with the message you want and no percentages are ruined. _________________

thx for idea, but nope...starting tommorrow (today actually, but I'll look at logs tommorrow) everyone must participate in Planetary by sending at least 10 Rank Points toward a Resource or no Rank Points for individual ranking for that day (and going forward until it changes which it prolly will). 10 Rank Points is hardly infringing on anyone's quest for the Season Title or the Cup. _________________

Final Occupational changes for Season 5 are done. I believe the only Occupations that changed were made were to Knight, Duelist, and Speaker. _________________

You should add a new category bonus... Most occupations... I do believe Wyrm should get something at the beginning of next season for trying most of the occupations available lol. _________________

The following will the mapcycle for Season 5. I still haven't got confirmation that the new Map Paks work - need you betas to test it out. It's already live on the 2 buttons on the homepage, but since all the maps in the mapcycle currently are part of the Free Release there prolly isn't anyone downloading currently. That will change soon, so please go and test!

If you downloaded the new map paks prior to about 11pm Pacific last night, please download it again. It was missing a file that would cause an error on MekBowl (File not Found).

The proper tags for Assassin are (As)...do not put anything else or its not gonna show up in the logs using Bob's LogParser...
----
Remember that Planetary continues on even through the intercession...
----
I would request every1 use the same personal modifier commands for Solaris and the Store since they are already in the .ini files. If you really want to change send me an email (and I'll try and talk you out of it  _________________

Please have any variants in the following format:
Chassis: Blood Asp
Electronics: BAP/LAMS
Speed: 68kph
Heat Sinks: 2
Weapons: 2 Cultr10, 2 Hvy Med
Armor: 210
Btw, coming up I will have a command (-chassis) that will randomly select a chassis. It will just be for fun, and you can turn it into a contest who can build it the quickest (and then drop to show correct CBill), or 2 or more players drop with that config and see who does the best or duel each other in the random configs.... _________________
