I love the concept, putting Battletech rules onto MW4, but it appears to have failed as it took the killing power away from Assult mechs and made it harder to kill light mechs. Sad really.

Anyone hear of this mod? Anyone play it? Is it played in any leagues anymore?

never played it...if it's the one I'm thinking about, it was made by an ex-mektek person who no longer is interested in it, therefore, nothing new is being done with it and no support. That's all I know...if...it's we are talking about the same mod.

Its being used by Inner Sphere Wars

Once again. Not many people are playing as it is in perpetual beta and testing. It pretty much a copy of what Electronic Arts was doing for a bit. Taking over planets by fighting matches on an ongoing basis.

Stock mechs only. YUCK!
Why stock? Why the heck do we have a mechlab then?

Sigh

I used to have the install before I did a complete system restore. I liked it and think I will install it again. What it did was allow me to play any version of mw by simply running the netmech app. It also checked for updates for any version (NBT, MP, and the 3025, 3050, 3067, and 3070 series). If it is still working I will install it again. All series had their pros and cons. I enjoyed them all.

Exactly. The point was to play MW at a certain time in history. NM is not about customization but about playing the real loadouts during that point in history. More for the purists you could say.
