| Mine is starting to were out. I had 2 copys but 1 box of my dvd's and software is missing. I need a backup copy of Mercs. |

you won't need it. The Free Release is due out in a week or so (if things go smoothly). It doesn't require the discs.

I don't even use my CDs anymore except for rare installs. I used Alcohol 120 to make copies of them to my hard drive and mount them with Daemon Tools Lite. Works like a charm and they are both free.

I'm a beta-tester for it...there is already an RC (Release Candidate). The only way it wouldn't go live is if Smith & Tinker pulled the plug. There is no indication of that. It will happen

I had alcohol 120 several pc's ago...was good software.
Looking forward to Smith and them going online with Mercs.
I just wanna make sure I have working software to go along with new system build and 1 yr. old system rebuild. |

I'd like the free.
But I had to run back and forth from 2 rooms with disc2 Fri just to get us enough players to get cert on mwl.
Coolant...any idea when (a noob question that I hate, but I'm a player and IF I spend much time on a forum...it's usually on gun stuff...except for here.)?
If/when Mektek is allowed to offer Mercs IS NOT my question. A backup full game is what I need for 3 systems.
Thnx for the alcohol 120 input but I recall the sites offering it have a LOT of holes...ie virus/trojans. (Hack/crack sites ALWAYS do.)

once the full game is released free (it will prolly be available to download as a torrent) you can burn it to as many CD's/DVD's as you want.
