pc #1:
amd 6400 x 2
only 2 gig ram
gforce 8400
In game play it will exit with bsod and restart.
Any ideas.
pc#2:
older dell
800 pentium
384 mb ram
gforce 5200 pci
When starting game, it freezea at 1st splash screen.
I've run Mercs, in the past, with lesser systems. |

When I run mercs on my PC it sticks at the splash screen for quite a while before showing the main menu. I can hear the music the whole time before it appears. How long do you wait before killing the process?
My system:
Windows xp
Intel 3.0Ghz
4gb ram
Nvidia Geforce 7800 256MB(AGP)

I have had a similar problem, my screen would just freeze but I could hear the music. It turned out to be a movie codec issue, and installing this K-Lite Codec Pack fixed it on my machine: http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

I had K-lite a couple of years ago. I was trying to think of that name a few days ago. Useful for a lot of stuff. |
