Planetary just isn't getting any love. I've added a Planetary Category on the Rankings Page. Kobol has gained 1000 points today and everyday he leads in Planetary. Thank you Omni for putting 100 points toward Plantary. Note, that your total was reduced because of the penalty. I've added that players attack each other the following day. It used to be immediately. This will give you time to strategize. This is the last time I try and encourage players to start doing Planetary by positive means. Starting tommorrow there will be negative consequences (haven't decided on the method yet).

Generally, bonus points from Occupation that modify points for Categories go into Total column and not the individual Category. For example: the bonus points from a Speaker's -buff would be added to Total column, but not the BA Bonus Category.

For Season 2 Rejoins, Suicides and Teamkills erased Kill/Streak Kill/Bot etc. Rank Sets to make my job easier. However, for Season 3 I added the Negative Column to the Ranking table. Since then I have let everyone keep their Kill/Streak Kill/Bot etc. but also put the -10 in the Negative column. Starting yesterday and going forward, it will again erase the Rank Set, so that you may not be getting the Kill/Streak Kill you were expecting, and I will continue to put the -10 in the Negative Column. If this doesn't make sense ask me on comms tonight (wife is working so I'll be on comms most of the night after 3pm Pacific). _________________

You can actually make some really good points with Raider, providing that no one is successful with a -scan attempt. If you can find a server with lots of players, but no occupationalists (good luck), then you can get a monty-haul of Raider points.

For Head of Salvage Ops and Surveyors you might take a look at the seldom used command -dropdecl...I believe this lists all the players on both teams and maybe their tonnage as well. Remember that only those that join within the 1st minute are targets that are worth salvage...type -dropdecl at the 60 second mark and see who is worth points and go after them....

K, Solaris is taking too long. You can continue to play as often as you want, but the first time a player plays 10 times Solaris is over as far as rankings for the day. For instance, yesterday, Corsair had 6W and 4L = 10, but Omnicide had 5W and 3L =8 and Kobol 4L and 3W =7. I stopped looking at log after that. Again, you can play for fun as often as you want, but I'll stop checking for -solaris after the 1st player hits 10 games.

Ok, I hadn't noticed it was 5 uses per day, same as betting. Does this mean we don't get anything since we all went over the allotted amount of uses for the day?

Since you've given Planetary it's own Category Bonus, have you yet considered making one for Solaris, also? I'm actually starting to have fun playing it.

Actually, Solaris had changed to unlimited recently but website never updated. Now it's until the first player to hit 10 games in a day. Again you can continue to play but they won't count. All the above mentioned totals count. Solaris webpage has now been updated

Cool; thanks Coolant, but I checked the Solaris page, and it still has me as 1 win/0 losses, if you are counting yesterday's wins/losses my score should be 6 wins/3 losses total, with a +1000 modifier. I want to crush my enemies in the Solaris Gladitorial Pits, especially Corsair, who is way ahead of everyone else...
Btw, how are we going to know if another player has already played Solaris the allotted 10 times per day on any given day?

For -onevone, ANY player that uses a command within 1 minute must duel the Duelist or lose 500 pts...so, that includes teammates. Also, -onevone has been changed so that the command used by another within 1 minute is also cancelled. The chat verbage in-game that says the player that used a command within 1 minute must duel or LOSE 500 pts no longer happens - just the Duelist is awarded 500 points but no negative points are removed from the other player. The wordage now is, "onevone='"[[1st player that uses Occupational command within 1 minute forced to duel %1 or Duelist gains 500 Pts]]"'

From now, if I remember, I will put the reason for any Occupational/rule changes. Reason above is to reduce amount of work.

Very important for the Mechanic Occupation! You MUST type -engineer for your preferred mech while IN-GAME and NOT in the lobby. I have the command set up so that it shows your mech that you have selected and the only way I know you are in that mech when you get the message. You also MUST type -engineer EVERY time you get the Ranking +10 or +100 Kill/SK message while in your preferred mech. Yesterday, someone typed -engineer while in the lobby so it didn't show the mech and -engineer was typed only once the whole day.
Mechanic webpage updated to say -engineer must be typed in-game.
Since I have no way to know when this pilot was actually in the preferred mech, I am awarding this pilot 1/3 of the # of ranking messages they received as being in preferred mech chronologically. This amounts to 150 extra points under Occupation. Send me a pm if you don't agree.

For Store bought items, you can still get credit for Ranking Sets that apply toward your item. Only example I can think of from yesterday is an auto-crit. So, even thought (Sto) is in your pilot name you still get a Kill and a Crit under those columns. This might be a grey area and have to look at each occurence individually.

-level only works near the time you actually used your inherent or special ability. You can't say, "I forgot to level tonight" and type it as you are about to log off. There was 1 instance of this and I'll grant it this time but no more.

Bozobub didn't add any points to Planetary so no Rank Points earned from yesterday (including levels).

I'll give one more notice about playing and Categories. I'll give the points from yesterday, but starting today you earn no points if you own a category but don't earn any Rank Points during the day (it's not just you play in the server but actually have to earn some Rank Points). _________________

You should be able to do that. Give it a test run on an old log, if it doesn't work shoot me an email with the katie lines that you want removed and I'll get it working. _________________
